Well its summer time!
So might as well make the 1st recipe blog something fun and summer like...
So I decided to start with the stuff that helps us cool off!!
Its been hella hot here lately and we all just wanna cool off.

So here are a few fun drink recipe's that are super easy and are a sure fire way to get deliciously cool!!..

Raspberry Lemonade

Ingredients
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen raspberry lemonade concentrate
3 cups water
3/4 teaspoon lime juice
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
1 cup crushed ice
1 cup fresh raspberries, garnish
18 Mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
Directions
In a large punch bowl, combine raspberry lemonade concentrate, water and lime juice. Stir in lemon-lime soda and crushed ice. Garnish each glass with a fresh raspberry and a mint leaf.

Boston Iced Tea

Ingredients

1 gallon water
1 cup white sugar
15 tea bags
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen cranberry juice concentrate
Directions
Put water in large pot, and heat on high until boiling. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Add teabags and let steep until desired strength is acquired. Stir in cranberry juice concentrate, and allow to cool.


California Smoothie

Ingredients
7 large strawberries
1 (8 ounce) container lemon yogurt
1/3 cup orange juice
Directions
Place strawberries in a plastic container and freeze for about an hour.
In a blender, combine frozen strawberries, yogurt and orange juice. Blend until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and serve.

Gourmet Root Beer Float
(its just not summer without one!)

Ingredients
1/2 pint vanilla ice cream
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle root beer
1/2 cup whipped cream
4 maraschino cherries
Directions
Place 1 scoop of ice cream into each of two tall glasses. Pour root beer carefully over the ice cream. Add another scoop and repeat. If possible, repeat again.

Orange Jewel Milk Shake

Ingredients
1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
1 cup milk
1 cup cold water
1 pint vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup sugar
vanilla extract
10 cubes ice
Directions
In a blender, combine orange juice concentrate, milk, water, ice cream, sugar and vanilla. Blend until smooth. Insert ice cubes, and blend until thickened. Pour into glasses and serve.
